The trip that was ....

Already back from trip and didn't have time (or internet connection) to enter one single word. Maybe I'll go back over it and add info and pics.

Where has the time gone? Only 2 days to go now, and all good intentions of "packing light" have disintegrated! The suitcase was looking good with minimal packing, then I bought a couple of new tops, which just happened to go well with quite a few other things, and voilà!, it is now overflowing. Serious sorting to do tomorrow.

Getting ready

Eleven days to go! Starting this blog while watching Stage 19 of the Giro d'Italia on Universal.com. What a way to get geared up for a vacation, although the scenery won't be quite as spectacular as the visual tour around Italy (today the riders are finishing atop Mount Vesuvius!)
